On October 22, Nagisa Watanabe, an announcer at Fuji Television Network, updated her Instagram page, reporting on her current medical condition after taking a leave of absence from her program since mid-July.
On this day, she uploaded a photo of herself lying on her bed, which was taken right after her hospitalization. And although she did not reveal the specific name of her illness, she said, ‘In the past four months I have lost many things. I can no longer eat. I can no longer walk well. I can’t move my fingers. I lost my job, which I cherished. I lost my goals. There is no end to the number of things I can no longer do.
